成人を迎えた私の記録としての作品。 成人式で久々に会った小学校の同級生たちが、 竹の子のように、 縦に横に見違えるように成長した姿を表現した。
Coming-of-Age Ceremony
This piece is a personal record of my own passage into adulthood. At the ceremony, I reunited with elementary-school classmates I hadn’t seen in years; like bamboo shoots, they had sprung up—taller, broader, transformed almost beyond recognition. I set out to capture that striking growth in this work.
